Judith
Wardell – Associate consultant
Judith has a strong commercial understanding
and an extensive general HR background with experience in diverse
business sectors and organisations. She is a Business Studies graduate
and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
She is fully trained in the use of psychometric tests and personality
profiling tools and is a trained harassment investigator.
As an HR professional and experienced trainer and
facilitator, Judith draws on over 15 years experience working initially
in the car manufacturing industry with Peugeot Talbot then in both
the manufacturing and commercial divisions of Smith & Nephew
and Colgate-Palmolive. In addition, Judith held the first civilian
HR Director post within a Police Force during a time of major cultural
and political change.
During her time with the Police Service, Judith developed
a keen interest in diversity and became involved in developing innovative
approaches at a local and national level. Since then she has been
specialising in helping a variety of businesses to develop Diversity
strategies and policies and in designing and delivering training
interventions. Most recently she has undertaken projects on age
diversity for the Welsh Development Agency and Age Concern which
have involved substantive research and the development of toolkits
and workshops for employers. She runs her own successful diversity
consultancy as well as collaborating with other consultants for
reciprocal associate work and in forming strategic alliances to
move forward the UK’s diversity agenda.
In additional to her consultancy work, Judith is pursuing
a Masters qualification in Mid Life and Pre-Retirement Life Coaching
with the Life Academy and University of Surrey. In her spare time
she enjoys walking, gardening and the benefits of flexible work
life balance!
